Fertility Workshops and Classes

The WOMB provides a nurturing, empowering space and outlet for women and families as they try to conceive and sometimes go through what may be an overwhelming and isolating experience of infertility. The WOMB’s engaging and interactive workshops and classes increase blood flow, reduce tension and anxiety, and help align the pelvis which all can help in achieving a faster conception. You can find love and guidance through the process of concious conception in these classes and groups.

Fitness and Yoga Classes

Come together with other women, babies, parents and families for virtual and in-person fitness and yoga classes meant to create connection with yourself, your child, your family and your community.

Pregnancy and Birth Workshops

Explore how movement, tension and our fears affect our reactions to pain in childbirth and the labour process itself. Prepare for the rite of passage into parenthood through connection to community and yourself. You will emerge from pregnancy into birth and then into parenthood feeling supported, confident, trusting your inner wisdom and empowered.

The WOMB offers expectant families with the opportunity to connect in real-time, group and private childbirth, breastfeeding and baby life classes. Parents will experience hands-on (or virtual hands on!) learning, soul-full exploration and discussion designed to prepare you fully and completely for the birth of your child(ren) and parenting. The WOMB offers 1.5 – 2 hour Birth and Pregnancy Workshops as well!

Facilitated by The WOMB’s International Certified Lactation Consultants, The WOMB’s prenatal breastfeeding classes will help you establish a breastfeeding relationship with your baby(ies) from birth and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Parenting workshops

There is so much to learn, to love and to inspire in parenthood! Being a parent or parent-to-be can involve a lot of decision making for your child(ren). Gathering information to help you make the right decisions for your family is part of what The WOMB can help you do.
Gather with other parents (and babies) to talk about the challenges, joys, and worries of parenting through an isolating pandemic and parenthood in general. Topics include: expectations of maternity leave, sleep, identity shifts, relationship changes, reconnecting or reframing your needs, body image, and recognizing important emotional processes, such as shame, guilt, fear, and anxiety.

The WOMB’s drop-in groups are an opportunity for parents and parents-to-be to connect with one another and build their village through all the joys and challenges of parenting. Drop In Groups are FREE – however, a donation to our Angel Fund (suggested $5) that benefits families in need with health & wellness support, birth and/or postnatal doula support or education would be much appreciated.
